STRENGTHENING OF THIN FLEXURAL MEMBERS USING STRIPS EXTRACTED FROM USED TIRES

چکیده

Present study investigates the ability of using damaged tires in field structural engineering. The proposed reinforcement material this represents an innovative approach to reuse strips extracted from used increase ultimate flexural capacity thin members, include timber beams and steel plates, satisfying clean environment economic considerations by consuming waste materials field. Results showed that increases load value beam specimens range 24.113 % 30.809 respectively based on results obtained experimentally numerically ANSYS software compared without reinforcement. Similarly, was increased 83.95% 101.7% for rib type plates specimens. Also, deflection has been reduced due method.
